The weather outside is frightful, but 2024 was delightful. My year in review reveals several new clients on the Harmer Editorial roster of nearly 30 – not bad for a small business!
My year in review:
- I had great fun working with Polly Ribet, a new writing and editing partner introduced by the ever-supportive Andrew Brown.
- A global company based in Europe hired me to work on my second ESG report, adding sustainability to my editorial bowstrings.
- I also edited several brochures and profiles for another UK agency that hadn’t used me before.
As every business owner knows, building and maintaining relationships with existing clients is essential. So, my 2024 roundup must include my special thanks to:
- Ageas and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Specialist Care – two clients that started using my services in 2017.
- Arthaus, an innovative design agency that hired me in 2018. Always a pleasure, Becky.
- FODO and the NCHA – it’s been a joy working with these two membership organisations since 2019
Working at home can be isolating, but thanks to my CIEP and IoIC memberships, I’m always meeting new people. So, my 2024 year in review wraps up with a Happy New Year to everyone who attended the Berkshire CIEP Christmas party.
As an IoIC awards judge, it was a pleasure to get an invitation to the IoIC 75th anniversary celebrations at the Natural History Museum. What a venue! I got to chat with old and new friends at the Fellowship lunch in Birmingham.
It just remains for my 2024 year in review to end with a Happy Christmas to all my clients, old and new, and a very happy New Year.
