Brochure writing: Niche knowledge magnifies workspace appeal

Sector: Flexible workspace

Client: Landmark Space

Services: Brochure writing

How I helped: My 20 years of experience in the flexible workspace sector meant I got up to speed fast when Landmark wanted area guides and brochures to highlight the emotional reasons for working from its high-quality flexible workspaces.

Client

I’ve worked for Landmark Space since 2016 when it was known as i2, helping with everything from brochure writing to editing web pages. Landmark provides flexible workspace in well-connected locations that help businesses achieve their full potential.

Challenge

Landmark’s marketing team were disappointed with the emotionless content an agency had produced for its area guides, aka storybooks. So, they turned to my industry-sector expertise. They asked me to create magazine-style brochures highlighting the emotional reasons customers should be in their centres.

Action

I conducted insightful interviews with centre managers. Then, I combined my specific expertise in flexible workspace and brochure writing skills to create audience-centric content in Landmark’s tone of voice. The result? I made the brand relatable.

Result

With the new area guides, audiences feel an emotional connection to Landmark. Above all, ‘human’ brochure writing helps Landmark to stand out from the crowd. How? By building trust and showing the benefits of its stress-free productive environments, the sense of belonging and wellbeing it creates, and its teams’ abilities to support business growth.

Testimonial

Alison’s thorough research dug up some amazing information about our properties that we would not have known otherwise, thus adding to our marketing and sales training efforts. Briefing Alison is easy as she’s done all sorts of writing and extrapolates my wants and needs into a sound piece of writing.
