Blog writing raises engagement on Landmark’s website by 9.19%

Blog writing for Landmark Space, written by Alison Harmer

Sector: Flexible workspace

Client: Landmark Space

Services: Blog writing

How I helped: Landmark asked me for blog writing services and set a brand redirection challenge. I changed its blogging tone of voice to fit. The result? Website engagement up by 9.19%.

Client

My long-term relationship with Landmark began in 2016 when it was known as i2. Landmark provides flexible workspace in well-connected locations that help businesses turbocharge their potential.

Challenge

As Landmark’s brand has developed, focusing on having a human voice has become more critical. The brand marketing team challenged me to create an expressive, human tone for blog writing to increase brand awareness.

Action

As a trained journalist, I love finding new stories for blogs and writing them to align with brands. As I’m a step removed from the action, I can find fresh angles when you have a blog to write, like this one about art at Landmark King’s Cross.

Result

Landmark has seen a huge uptick in website traffic since it swapped to my blogging services. My blogs helped increase organic Google search impressions by 63.82% compared to before the switch. It’s not all down to me, but Landmark believes my writing helped its engagement rate increase by 9.19%.

Testimonial

When our brand was developing in a different direction, Alison adapted to how we wanted to write and matched the tone of voice. Every time we push one of her blogs to social media, there’s a spike.
